Rules
These might seem like a lot of rules, but it’s mostly just common sense and a really big font!
Cars in the Car Park. Really.
Plaxtock is about getting into nature, not sitting in a car park. If the weather stays dry then you are most welcome to drive up to the orchard before 4pm on Saturday to drop off your camping gear – this will save you a lot of effort!! After 4pm the parents can relax and the kids will run amok so please make sure your vehicles are out of the orchard before then.
People in the festival fields.
There are two festival fields – the Cherry orchard and the sports field. Please keep to these areas.
Prepare for the worst, enjoy the best.
If it rains, it won’t be a problem, as we will have lots of cover, but make sure you bring wet weather stuff.
No Pets.
No Dogs, cats, sheep, fish or fowl. Sorry.
Eat what you pick, but don’t take the pith.
It is the farm’s sole income.
Be Farm Aware. The farm has teeth.
There’s ponds with slippery sides.
There’s stinging nettles and barbed wire.
There’s boisterous animals
Please keep to the festival fields.
Beware the Trees!
Do not camp underneath the cherry trees. They are old and unstable. Bits are constantly falling off them.
Keep the fire in one place
Firestarters are welcome at the festival fire pit, but nowhere else.
If you can wee in the bushes then do
It saves the toilets!
Please keep your no2’s to the loos though.
Observe litter bins and recycling.
Let’s get to zero waste
The night time can be loud.
If you have kids camp far from the arena and bring ear plugs.
Keep the loud in one place.
Please keep noise to a minimum around the camping areas between 7pm and 9am.
